Provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to patients throughout labor, delivery, and the postpartum experience as a Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery. This travel nursing opportunity is ideal for an experienced Labor and Delivery RN who is confident supporting patients and families through a wide range of obstetric needs while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams.

  • Weekly pay: $3,000/week
  • Deliver comprehensive patient care using the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Administer medications and monitor patient responses, recognizing and communicating changes in condition.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and comprehensive patient documentation throughout admission, care planning, and discharge.
  • Support patient education, family communication, and coordination with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Serve as a charge nurse or clinical resource when assigned, providing guidance and supporting effective patient care.
  • Demonstrate proficiency with computerized nursing informatics and clinical information systems.
  • Follow established safety, blood/body fluid, confidentiality, and hospital policies and procedures.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development.
  • Provide service excellence to patients, families, visitors, volunteers, and colleagues.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
  • Current Registered Nurse license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required.
  • Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required.
  • Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring Course attendance documented within the past two years.
  • Successful completion of the required pharmacology examination.
  • Recent Labor and Delivery/OB experience within the past two years.
  • CPI (Crisis Prevention) certification preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

Schedule

  • Travel assignment from November 2, 2026, through January 30, 2027.
  • 36 hours per week.
  • Night shifts: 7:00 PM–7:30 AM.
  • Every other weekend and rotating holidays required.
