Key Responsibilities\n

- Conduct thorough intake assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health concerns, utilizing standardized tools to inform clinical diagnoses and establish individualized treatment plans.
- Facilitate therapeutic sessions, adapting evidence-based modalities (such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy) to meet the diverse needs of individuals, couples, families, and groups.
- Provide crisis intervention support during acute mental health emergencies, ensuring a compassionate and effective response that prioritizes client safety and well-being.
- Document all client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes with acuity and confidentiality, adhering to ethical guidelines and legal standards.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, social workers, and healthcare professionals to coordinate care and enhance client outcomes.
- Educate clients and their families about mental health issues, empowering them with knowledge on treatment options, wellness strategies, and community resources.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

- A valid license to practice as a Mental Health Counselor (LMFT, LMHC, LICSW) in Massachusetts.
- A Bachelor’s degree; a Master's or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrable clinical assessment and diagnostic skills, with a strong focus on evidence-based interventions.
- A minimum of two years of relevant experience in a clinical setting.
