An exciting opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with ICU experience to work the night shift in a dynamic critical care environment. This contract position is designed for skilled ICU nurses who thrive in providing comprehensive care to a diverse patient population, including pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. Schedule/Hours:
- 12-hour night shifts, from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- 36 hours per week
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU
- Monitor patient conditions and administer treatments according to established protocols
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic patient care
- Document patient information accurately using Cerner EMR systems
- Respond promptly to emergencies and changes in patient status
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Current RN licensure with ICU experience
- Competence in handling a trauma level III patient population
- Experience with Cerner EMR is preferred
- Ability to work night shifts reliably with a maximum of three return-to-office days allowed
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility (no local candidates)
