Travel Registered Nurse (RN)- OR - Scrub/Circulate (Days)
Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN)- OR - Scrub/Circulate for a 13-week travel assignment in Windsor, VT.

Contract Details

• Days 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM 8, 4 8hrs days per week. 32hr guarantee
  
• Start Date: 11/1/2026

• Hourly Pay: $ 31.50
  
• Non-taxed Stipend: $ 1246.00
  
• Weekly Total Pay: $ 2002.00
  
• Weekend Requirements: Weekend call - 1 Weekends per month. Call back time is ONE HOUR
  
• On Call Requirements: Weekday call is 2-3 days/week. Call back time is ONE HOUR
  
• EMR: Cerner
  
• Dress code: Hospital provided scrubs
  
• Patient population: Adult and Geriatric
  
• Traveler Policy: Local Travelers - Those who reside within 50 miles of the facility - are not eligible for this need.
  
• 8hrs non-billable orientation

** Requested time off during the course of this assignment MUST be noted and verified at upload. RTO REQUESTS AFTER UPLOAD WILL NOT BE APPROVED!! NO MORE THAN 5 DAYS OF RTO WILL BE ACCEPTED (less is better).

** Travelers may not take all holidays off. MUST work TWO blocks (if scheduled/needed): Thanksgiving Day/Friday after and weekend after Christmas Eve through Christmas Day and weekend after New Year Eve through New Year Day and weekend after

** Any/All RTO must be included in profile. ALL SCHEDULING REQUESTS MUST BE MADE AT THE TIME OF SUBMISSION. Facility will NOT approve scheduling requests at/after time of offer. Please obtain this information prior to submittal. Requests after offer may lead to rescinded offer

NOTE 3 STRIKE RULE FOR CALL OFFS (enforced immediately): After 3 call offs, a traveler's contract will be eligible for termination due to lack of attendance at Mt Ascutney Hospital and Health Center's discretion Each call off must be communicated to the unit supervisor at least 1.5 hours in advance

The Clinical Nurse is a key member of the surgical team who functions in a circulating and scrubbing capacity. Services lines we provide include: General surgery, urology, ophthalmology, podiatry, pain and endoscopy procedures. Our nurses provide specialized care for all these services.

The Surgical Services department has 2 operating rooms and a procedure room. We provide mostly outpatient procedures with limited inpatient. We provide care to patients ages 16 and older.

Key Responsibilities:

• Working with patients prior to surgery to complete paperwork, and help answer questions or calm fears about surgery
  
• Monitoring a patient’s condition during and after surgery
  
• Selecting and passing instruments and supplies to the surgeon during operation (sometimes referred to as a scrub nurse)
  
• Managing the overall nursing care in the operating room to help maintain a safe and comfortable environment (sometimes referred to as a circulating nurse)
  
• Educating patients on best practices for recovery, including pain management and keeping wounds clean
  
• Cleaning surgical equipment and operating rooms to maintain a sterile environment
  

Compensation:

• Weekly Pay (hourly) + Non-taxed Stipend (if eligible)

Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have a minimum 2-5 years of experience
  
• Must have Scrubbing and Circulating experience - BOTH specialty skill checklists MUST be in profile to move forward with presenting to client
  
• This is a small community without public transport. Traveler candidate must have their own vehicle. This is a firm requirement.
  
• Must have experience working in a smaller OR facility
  
• Must have Phase I/PACU experience
  
• Travel experience highly preferred
  
• CERNER EMR EXPERIENCE required
  
• BSN preferred
  
• MULTIPLE SURGICAL EXPERIENCE is required
  
• This is a small community without public transport. Traveler candidate must have their own vehicle. This is a firm requirement.
  
• Must have ACLS (AHA) certification
  
• Must have and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification during employment
  
• Effective team skills including interaction, support, and respect are required.
  
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
  
• Willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs
  
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  
• Excellent communication skills, professionalism, and reliability
  
• Ability to learn and apply basic computer skills including locating and opening documents, completing forms, opening and sending e-mail messages.
