You’ll spend your time equally between two districts, working 2 days at each, for a total of 30 hours per week. Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license in New Hampshire
- Previous experience working as a school-based OT preferred
- Understanding of IEP processes and documentation
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to adapt to various student needs and educational settings
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide direct OT services to students as outlined in their IEPs or 504 plans
- Conduct assessments and contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings
- Develop and implement individualized interventions to promote student independence
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and related service providers
- Document therapy sessions and maintain thorough records
- Travel between assigned schools and efficiently manage a flexible caseload
- Assist with staff training and support classroom strategies as needed
