Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting young learners in a dynamic elementary school environment right near Hampton, NH! This role is ideal for dedicated paraprofessional educators looking to make a meaningful difference in students’ academic journeys. Contributing as part of a welcoming team, you’ll provide vital assistance in a Title 1 elementary school setting alongside experienced professionals.
Five paraprofessionals are needed to fill these positions for the 2026-2027 academic year, working 32.5 hours per week with a schedule of 8:05am to 3:05pm. You’ll enjoy the consistent structure of a school-based calendar, giving you summers and holidays free.
Qualifications/Experience:
- Three professional references, including your most recent supervisor, must be submitted prior to interviewing
- Proof of qualification (submit one of the following):
- Valid Paraprofessional II certificate
- Transcripts verifying postsecondary credits equivalent to an Associate’s degree
- Completed Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree
- Experience supporting children or students in educational or youth-serving settings preferred
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide academic and behavioral support to students in elementary grades
- Assist classroom teachers with daily instruction and classroom management
- Implement individualized support based on student needs
- Foster a positive, affirming environment that encourages student growth
- Support classroom organization and prepare materials as needed
This contract begins September 1, 2026 and ends June 16, 2027. The role offers a structured schedule during school hours and the chance to positively impact students’ lives each day.
