Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is sought for a K-12 public school district located in Pittsfield, MA. This contract position spans the current school year and offers the opportunity to provide essential speech and language support to students in grades pre-kindergarten through fifth grade at Crosby Elementary.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting speech and language assessments to identify student needs.
- Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Providing direct therapy services to students with speech and language delays or disorders.
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines.
Qualifications and desired skills:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience working as an SLP in a school setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage a full caseload effectively.
- Open to candidates affiliated with Voco or similar staffing agencies.
