Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A K-12 public school in Meredith, NH is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to provide specialized support to students from kindergarten through 8th grade. This contract assignment will begin on February 23, 2026, and continue through the end of the school year, with a weekly schedule of 35 hours. This role requires delivering services to a caseload of approximately 15 students, as well as providing RTI support to an additional 12 students.
Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized occupational therapy services to students in grades K-8, addressing fine motor, sensory processing, and other developmental needs
- Support students through a combination of one-on-one and group therapy sessions, including collaborating with a Speech-Language Pathologist in group interventions
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation in accordance with school and state requirements
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to coordinate care and support positive student outcomes
- Use Response to Intervention (RTI) frameworks to assist additional students requiring targeted OT support
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to integrate therapy goals into the educational environment
Qualifications:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist with state credentials appropriate for school-based practice
- Experience working with pediatric populations in K-8 educational settings
- Knowledge of Response to Intervention (RTI) frameworks and school regulations related to special education services
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including Speech-Language Pathologists
- Strong communication and organizational skills necessary for caseload management and documentation
