An opportunity is available for a dedicated School Psychologist to provide comprehensive support to elementary students during the 2024-2025 school year. This full-time contract position is based onsite in Boston, MA, at a K-12 school serving an elementary caseload. The role includes key leadership responsibilities as the Team Chair, facilitating and running meetings to ensure collaborative approaches to student wellbeing and success.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for elementary students
- Develop and implement individualized plans to address students academic, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Serve as the Team Chair, organizing and leading team meetings to coordinate student services
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrative staff to support student development
- Maintain thorough documentation and compliance with relevant policies and regulations
- Provide onsite support without vocational responsibilities
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with elementary students in a school setting
- Strong leadership and organizational skills to manage team dynamics and meetings
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative multidisciplinary environment
- Excellent communication skills with students, families, and school staff
