HVAC Lead (Refrigeration Contractor Licensed)

BeeHive Pros is seeking an experienced HVAC Lead with a Refrigeration Contractor License to lead HVAC service and installation projects throughout Massachusetts. This position is ideal for a skilled professional who enjoys troubleshooting, mentoring team members, and delivering high-quality work in both commercial and residential environments.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise HVAC service and installation crews
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems
- Install, maintain, and service:
- Rooftop units (RTUs)
- Split systems
- Heat pumps
- Mini-splits
- Commercial refrigeration equipment
- Walk-in coolers and freezers
- Perform preventative maintenance and inspections
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and mechanical plans
- Ensure work complies with local codes and safety regulations
- Train and mentor HVAC Technicians and apprentices
- Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and project managers
- Complete service reports and project documentation accurately
- Participate in an on-call rotation as needed
Qualifications
- Valid Massachusetts Refrigeration Contractor License
- EPA Universal Certification
- Minimum of 5 years of HVAC/R experience preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities
- Previous leadership or crew management experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in the field
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Strong communication and customer service skills
