We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with licensed physical therapists to implement treatment plans, assist in patient care, and contribute to the rehabilitation process for patients in various settings, including inpatient and outpatient facilities. Your expertise will help improve patients' mobility and overall quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing individualized care plans for patients.
• Provide hands-on patient care, including administering therapeutic exercises and modalities.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising physical therapist.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, exercises, and home care strategies.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments and progress notes as required by facility policies.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to physical therapy practices.
• Experience in providing patient care in an outpatient clinic preferred.
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Proficient in developing and following care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Competence in discharge planning processes to ensure continuity of care post-treatment.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and supportive environment for all patients during therapy sessions.
