Description\n
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring 2+ years of ED experience and current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications.

- Hospital-based Emergency Department open 24/7, 365 days a year, serving approximately 14,000 patient visits annually
- 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a 36-hour guarantee per week
- Every other weekend required
- Holiday coverage required if scheduled/needed
- On-call requirements to be determined

Requirements\n

- Active VT RN license or Compact required
- Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Current TNCC certification required
- Minimum 2 years of current ED experience in a hospital setting required
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum 3 months of travel nursing experience preferred
- ED-specific skills checklist current within 1 year required for consideration
- One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years required for consideration
- Must have personal vehicle

- Responsible for screening patients upon arrival to determine severity and appropriate course of treatment
- Must work two designated holiday blocks if scheduled or needed, covering Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's periods along with the following weekends
- No more than 5 days of RTO will be accepted and must be submitted at the time of profile submission; requests made after offer or during interview will not be approved
- Local candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position
- Block scheduling and 48-hour guarantee are not available for this assignment
