A dynamic opportunity awaits an experienced Special Education Teacher for the 2026-2027 academic year. This full-time contract role will support high school students in a vibrant educational community near Hanover, NH, from August 2026 through June 2027. Working Monday through Friday for 35-37.5 hours per week, you'll play a vital role in shaping student outcomes and collaborating with dedicated educators and staff.

Ideal candidates bring passion, adaptability, and a strong background in special education. You will guide a caseload of high school students, developing and implementing individualized education plans and fostering a positive, supportive classroom environment. As the school year approaches, additional details about the assignment will be provided.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Valid Special Education Teacher certification
  • Experience with high school special education caseloads
  • Thorough knowledge of current instructional strategies, differentiation, and accommodations
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
  • Motivated, compassionate, and organized approach
