Rehab Aid
The Rutland Center for Living and Rehabilitation is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Rehab Aid to join our team at our Rutland, Vermont location. As a Rehab Aid, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our residents, helping them achieve their rehabilitation goals and regain independence.
Responsibilities:
• Assist Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapists in the implementation of individualized treatment plans
• Provide assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Monitor and report changes in residents' condition to therapy staff and nursing team
• Assist with exercises, transfers, and ambulation under the supervision of licensed therapists
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for residents, staff, and visitors
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Document resident progress and treatment plans accurately and timely

Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift, transfer, and move residents with a minimum of 50 pounds
