Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A school-based speech-language pathologist (SLP) is sought to provide critical services in an elementary school setting from Springfield, MA. This leave of absence contract position begins immediately and extends through February 13, 2026, with additional make-up sessions expected beyond this date to address a previously unfilled vacancy.

Responsibilities include delivering direct speech-language therapy to K-4 students through small groups, individual sessions, and inclusion classrooms. The role involves conducting evaluations for IEP eligibility, writing and updating IEP goals, participating in IEP meetings, and closely monitoring and documenting student progress. This opportunity supports essential educational needs and offers meaningful collaboration with school staff to promote student success.

The position requires 17 hours per week with flexibility to complete necessary make-up services. Candidates must hold valid SLP credentials, including the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and appropriate school licensure. Completion of district onboarding requirements is mandatory prior to starting.

  • Proficient in conducting assessments and developing IEPs
