Corporate Associate – Emerging Companies & Venture Capital (ECVC)
Location: New York, NY or Boston, MA
Experience Level: 2–6 years
Employment Type: Full-Time, Hybrid Schedule Salary: $310k-$365k

About the Role:
Our client, a nationally recognized law firm, is seeking a mid-level Corporate Associate to join their Emerging Companies & Venture Capital (ECVC) group. This is a unique opportunity to work with startups, founders, and investors across the full life cycle of high-growth companies—from incorporation to exit.

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent startups and venture-backed companies in financings, M&A, and strategic transactions

• Advise clients on corporate governance and day-to-day legal issues

• Draft and negotiate financing documents, operating agreements, and purchase agreements

• Work closely with investors, founders, and executives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Qualifications:

• 2–6 years of corporate law experience, preferably with ECVC or startup clients

• Strong drafting and negotiation skills

• Familiarity with financing structures and corporate governance best practices

• Admission to the bar in NY or MA
