Location: Great Barrington, Massachusetts
Compensation: $44–$55/hour
Schedule: Full-Time | 40 Hours/Week
Schedule: Primarily weekdays with flexibility available

We are looking for a compassionate, skilled, and patient-focused Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Great Barrington, Massachusetts.

This is a critical-need full-time position at a skilled nursing facility (SNF), offering an exciting opportunity for an SLP who wants to make a visible difference in the lives of the patients they serve.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing evaluations

  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on each resident's needs and goals

  • Provide skilled speech-language therapy using evidence-based clinical practices

  • Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate

  • Evaluate and treat communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders

  • Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation

  • Collaborate with nursing, therapy, dietary, and other healthcare professionals

  • Participate in interdisciplinary care planning

  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers regarding treatment strategies and recommendations

  • Communicate effectively with the care team regarding patient progress and changes in condition

  • Promote patient safety, independence, communication, and quality of life

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

  • Current Massachusetts Speech-Language Pathologist license or eligibility for licensure

  • ASHA certification or eligibility preferred

  • Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills

  • Patient-focused and compassionate approach to care

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team

  • Willingness to discuss flexible scheduling arrangements

  • New graduates are encouraged to apply

This position is structured around 40 hours per week, with the schedule primarily focused on weekdays. However, the center is open to being flexible with the schedule for the right candidate.
