An opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse specializing in Operating Room care, offering a rewarding contract position in Lynn, MA. Schedule/Hours:
- Day shift: 7:00 AM 3:00 PM
- Rotating call coverage including overnight shifts: 11:00 PM 7:00 AM
- Weekend shifts and potential holiday coverage
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert perioperative nursing care in the Operating Room setting
- Monitor patient status and maintain safety protocols during surgical procedures
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure seamless patient care from pre-op to recovery
- Participate in rotating call coverage to support urgent surgical needs outside of standard hours
- Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and standards
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current and permanent Registered Nurse license in Massachusetts
- Proven experience in Operating Room nursing is required
- Strong knowledge of perioperative procedures and sterile techniques
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
