Quality Technician II
Full-Time
Danvers, MA
$22.00 – $25.00 per hour
Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Technician II to join a growing manufacturing organization in Danvers, MA. This role is a key part of the Quality and Compliance team, responsible for ensuring products and processes meet internal standards as well as global regulatory requirements.
The ideal candidate will have experience in quality assurance within a manufacturing environment and a strong understanding of regulatory compliance and documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and ensure compliance with global regulatory standards, including REACH, RoHS, PFAS, Proposition 65, and EPA TSCA
- Support Conflict Minerals reporting (CMRT/EMRT) and international compliance requirements
- Assist with certifications and labeling such as CE, UKCA, UL, and CSA
- Review regulatory documentation and support compliance audits and product declarations
- Partner with engineering, production, and procurement teams to maintain compliance across the supply chain
- Maintain accurate records for traceability, including SDSs, technical files, and declarations of conformity
- Support internal and external audits, including customer and regulatory inspections
- Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and compliance documentation
- Perform inspections and assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within quality and compliance processes
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or technical certification preferred
- 2+ years of experience in manufacturing, quality, or regulatory compliance
- Knowledge of regulations such as REACH, RoHS, CE, UL, and Prop 65
- Strong documentation, organization, and analytical skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and engineering drawings
- Comfortable working both independently and cross-functionally
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word); ERP or PLM experience is a plus
Preferred Experience
- Experience with third-party certifications (UL, CSA, etc.)
- Background in electronics, machining, or precision manufacturing
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement
- Familiarity with international trade compliance and product safety standards
