Public and private site work across Massachusetts and Rhode Island: heavy civil and utility contractors are hiring Project Managers. BELMONT Search is a Construction and Infrastructure executive search firm.
THE ROLE
You run jobs from award through close out, and you would rather be near the dirt than in a tower.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Public and private site work, award through close out
- Schedule, buyout, change orders and monthly quantities
- Awarding authority and inspector relationships that hold up
- Prevailing wage, submittals and the documentation the job lives on
- Coordination with the superintendents and foremen running your crews
- Claims, differing site conditions and the record that supports them
QUALIFICATIONS
- Five or more years managing civil work at $5M and up
- Earthwork, underground utilities, water and sewer, or roadway
- Public work experience and the paperwork it demands
- Quantities you can defend to an inspector
COMPENSATION
Base of $120,000 to $165,000.
