Jamaica Cottage Shop Inc. is a premier Vermont-based manufacturer specializing in fine post and beam buildings like tool sheds, cottages, tiny homes & wood sheds. We are seeking a Support Carpenter to join our production team.
Responsibilities
- Follow plans, layouts and verbal instructions.
- Safely operate hand and power tools.
- Work independently or as part of a team to meet production timelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Requirements
- Prior carpentry experience.
- Comfortable working both with a team or independently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Meet physical demands while adhering to all safety protocols.
- Must be able to lift 50-75 lbs without issue or concern.
- Reliability, attention to detail and a positive attitude.

This is an in-person position, you must be able to reliably commute to South Londonderry, VT or be planning to relocate prior to starting work.
