A-Line Staffing is now hiring a Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician in Hudson, MA 01749.
The Pharmacy Technician would be working for a Fortune 500 company and has career growth potential. This would be full time / 40+ hours per week.

Pharmacy Technician Compensation

  • The pay for this position is $24.45 per hour
  • Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
  • A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates


Pharmacy Technician Highlights

  • This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
  • Required schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm
  • OT may be required
  • Must be able to start immediately
  • Must pass aseptic technique validation


Pharmacy Technician Responsibilities

  • Work under direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist to fill prescriptions and prepare IV medications
  • Create TPNs using a Pinnacle compounder (REQUIRED skill)
  • Enter prescription data and billing information into the system to support reimbursement processes
  • Prepackage medication for dispensing in compliance with standards and governmental regulations
  • Assist Pharmacist in final checking processes, including stating medication for review and packaging after approval
  • Coordinate accurate and timely delivery of medications
  • Support inventory management: receiving, rotating stock, posting lot numbers/expiration dates, and assisting with physical inventory
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment; ensure proper equipment calibration and safety standards
  • Collaborate with Technician Supervisor and pharmacy leadership to support workflow and operational needs


Pharmacy Technician Requirements

  • Active Massachusetts Pharmacy Technician License
  • Sterile Compounding experience required
  • Must be able to create TPNs using a Pinnacle compounder (critical requirement)
  • Strong sense of urgency and willingness to learn
  • Positive attitude and ability to work well within a team
  • Must be able to start immediately
  • Must pass aseptic technique validation
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days


Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in sterile compounding or infusion pharmacy
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Knowledge of IV preparation standards and cleanroom operations
