Work Location: Ashland, NH (Projects across Central NH)
Full-Time | $34-$40/hr + Benefits

Center Carpentry is hiring an experienced Lead Carpenter to join our growing residential remodeling and custom-home team. While this job is posted in Concord, all projects are located in Ashland, NH and the surrounding Central NH region. We welcome applicants from Concord who are open to a predictable commute into the Lakes Region.

What You'll Do
- Lead daily production on active jobsites, working hands-on with apprentices and journeyworkers
- Read and interpret drawings, elevations, and specifications
- Plan work sequences, material needs, and daily goals to keep projects on schedule
- Execute all phases of residential carpentry: framing, trim, cabinetry install, windows/doors, siding, and finish details
- Coordinate and supervise specialty subcontractors on-site
- Uphold company standards for quality workmanship, safety, and professionalism
- Communicate frequently with the Project Manager on progress, needs, and challenges
- Train and mentor less experienced carpenters
- Maintain an organized, clean, protected jobsite
- Use JobTread for daily logs, updates, and communication
What We're Looking For
- 7+ years of carpentry experience, including custom and finish work
- Ability to manage small teams and lead the pace on-site
- Strong skill set across framing, finish carpentry, cabinetry install, exterior carpentry, and general residential construction
- Reliable transportation to Ashland, NH job locations
- Excellent communication skills and a client-focused approach
- Well-maintained professional tool set (company provides larger equipment)
- Humble, organized, accountable, and committed to continuous improvement
Compensation & Benefits
- $34-$40/hr, depending on experience and craftsmanship
