Providing critical care in a fast-paced Emergency Department requires expertise, composure, and advanced skills. This role offers an opportunity to work in a well-equipped setting dedicated to high-quality patient outcomes. With 18 headwall beds, 10 hall beds, and a 5:1 patient ratio, the unit delivers comprehensive emergency care supported by a variable staffing model including unit secretaries and techs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-level nursing care in the Emergency Department
- Perform advanced ER procedures utilizing equipment such as GE systems
- Document patient care accurately using the Expanse system
- Collaborate with a skilled team committed to patient safety and experience
- Float as needed within the department to meet patient care demand
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum 2 years hospital experience required, with proven Emergency Room skill set
- Active Compact RN license at submission
- Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC, CPI
- Ability to maintain composure and clinical judgment in emergency situations
Schedule:
- Approximately 36 hours per week with flexible scheduling options
