Job Description\n
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Room RN for a rotating day and night shift position requiring a VT or compact RN license.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
- Work in the Emergency Department (ED) of an acute care hospital setting
- Provide emergency patient care to a varied patient population
- Rotating 12-hour shifts including days and nights
- 32-week contract assignment
- Public transportation is not accessible, so reliable personal transportation is required
- Religious or medical exemption documentation must be provided if applicable
- Bed count, EMR system, and trauma level experience will be taken into consideration
- Candidates are expected to respond promptly to communication regarding offer and acceptance
\n \n Requirements\n
- Active VT or compact RN license required; candidates without VT licensure must apply for VT license within 24 hours of commitment
- Minimum of one year recent Emergency Room RN experience preferred
- Ability to provide two professional references from a nurse manager or supervisor, with at least one reference from within the past 6 months
