Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time, onsite contract opportunity offers you the chance to work directly with an engaged team and make measurable progress with your students from now through June 25, 2026.

Your days will run from 8:00AM to 2:30PM, providing a consistent schedule that allows for focused, individualized support in a vibrant school setting. As a valued special education professional, you’ll dive into a rewarding caseload and collaborate with other experts for the best outcomes.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Possession of an active Massachusetts license/certification in special education (Moderate or Severe Disabilities)
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting
  • Experience or strong interest in working with elementary students with developmental or intellectual disabilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Completion of CORI check and fingerprinting (a letter of suitability from a previous employer may be considered for fingerprints)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver specially designed instruction to 2nd and 3rd grade students
  • Modify curriculum and classroom environments to meet each student’s unique needs
  • Track progress and maintain accurate documentation for IEP goals
  • Communicate consistently with families and related staff to support student growth
  • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom culture
