Job DescriptionPosition Overview

Our organization’s Dialysis Unit offers a wide range of dialysis services for both chronic outpatients and acute inpatients. We cater to patients from neonates to adolescents, providing care through peritoneal dialysis, hemodialysis, and continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT). Primary Duties

• Engaging in a dynamic and highly regulated Dialysis Program serving a diverse patient demographic from infants to adolescents.
• Administering dialysis care across various inpatient units, including all ICUs and the chronic outpatient unit.
• Educating patients and their families about dialysis procedures and care.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including dietitians, social workers, child life specialists, and pharmacists, to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Committing to a 40-hour work week, with shifts from Monday to Saturday, consisting of 10-hour days. On-call duties include one overnight shift per week and rotating Sunday on-call responsibilities.

Essential Qualifications Education:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.

Experience:

• A minimum of one year of RN experience is required.
• Experience in dialysis (adult or pediatric) is preferred, along with inpatient pediatric experience.

Licensure/Certifications:

• Current Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license.
