We are recruiting a Generator Technician to join the world's largest equipment rental provider at its branch in Braintree, MA. This team supports power generation and climate-control equipment used across construction sites, industrial and manufacturing facilities, utilities, municipalities, and occasional event applications.
We are hiring at multiple technician levels and are open to candidates from diesel, automotive, generator/power generation, HVAC, and military maintenance backgrounds. Whether you're a developing technician looking to build specialized power-generation skills or an experienced technician with generator, electrical, or HVAC expertise, this is an opportunity to join a stable organization with strong training and advancement potential.
What's In It for You

Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on diesel-powered generators, engines, and related power-generation equipment

Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, low-voltage AC, fuel, cooling, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems

Service and troubleshoot HVAC, dehumidification, and air-quality equipment as needed

Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to identify equipment faults and complete repairs
Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent

Hands-on experience in diesel engines, generators/power generation, heavy equipment, HVAC, or a related mechanical field

Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems; higher-level candidates should have stronger experience with generators, low-voltage AC power, and/or HVAC systems

Ability to read technical documentation and use standard technician diagnostic and repair tools
