The Key Program, Inc. is currently seeking a part-time (20-hour per week) Registered Nurse to join their team at a short-term residential group home in Fall River, MA that provides treatment and stabilization services for up to nine (9) adolescents involved with the MA Department of Children and Families (DCF).



Hourly wage: $41.50

Due to the part-time nature of the position, it does not include health benefits. Mileage reimbursement for work-related travel included.


  • In addition to the hourly wage, this position qualifies for a $3,000 hiring bonus (paid in two equal payments of $1,500 at 3 months and at 6 months of employment).


Requirements:

  • Nursing degree from an accredited nursing school
  • Licensed by the MA Board of Registration in Nursing
  • Certified to teach Medication Administration Program (MAP) or an agreement to obtain certification within the first three months of employment.
  • Current CPR certification
  • Experience working with youth and families from diverse backgrounds is preferred.

Responsibilities:

The Registered Nurse will oversee our Medication Administration Program, provide medication training to our staff, and work with our staff to schedule well-child PCP visits, and follow up on prescriptions. The Registered Nurse will also have the opportunity to work directly with the children on individual needs and interests related to personal health issues, appetite/ eating concerns, Diabetes, allergies, exercise, and overall improvements in health and wellbeing. The position allows a flexible work schedule, and we are currently looking for an applicant to work 20 hours per week.
