Role Description The Digital Navigator role is a on-site position located in Barnstable County, MA, supporting clients with their Apple devices and related digital tools. Day-to-day tasks include visiting clients at their homes or offices, diagnosing and resolving technical issues, configuring devices and software, and guiding clients through common tasks such as updates, backups, and account management. The Digital Navigator helps clients understand and use their devices with confidence, providing clear explanations and step-by-step support. The role also involves documenting service visits, maintaining appointment schedules, and communicating with clients to follow up on unresolved issues and ensure ongoing satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Strong technical proficiency with Apple devices (macOS, iOS, iPadOS) and core applications, including setup, configuration, and basic troubleshooting.

  • Comfort working on-site in clients’ homes or offices, including managing appointments, travel within Barnstable, MA, and maintaining professionalism in varied environments.

  • Solid problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and capacity to work independently without close supervision.

  • Reliable transportation, ability to lift and carry common computer equipment, and adherence to safety and privacy best practices.

  • Previous experience in technical support, IT helpdesk, or a related field is preferred.

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical certifications or training related to Apple products or IT support are a plus.
