Position Overview
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a Donor Care Specialist I / Driver to support blood donation services within a hospital-based donor center and mobile blood drives. This role combines phlebotomy, donor screening, and bloodmobile operation, ensuring safe, compliant, and compassionate donor experiences. The position offers flexible scheduling with rotating shifts and meaningful community impact.
Key Responsibilities

Screen donors in compliance with applicable CDC, FDA, AABB, CAP, and hospital guidelines

Perform whole blood and therapeutic phlebotomy procedures

Support on-site and off-site blood drives, including setup and breakdown

Prepare, label, and transport blood components for testing

Accurately document donor records and perform data entry

Assist with donor recruitment and inventory management

Operate and transport the bloodmobile to off-site locations

Maintain clean, safe, and compliant work areas

Deliver excellent customer service and follow organizational policies, including emergency procedures
Qualifications & Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required
-
Valid Massachusetts Driver’s License
-
CDL Class B with Air Brake Endorsement required
-
Current DOT medical certificate, including drug and alcohol screening

Clean driving record (no violations or points within the past 4 years)

Prior phlebotomy experience required

National certification or completion of an accredited program preferred

Basic computer proficiency (laptop/data entry)

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
-
BLS certification required within 90 days of hire (must be maintained)

Ability to work independently and remain calm in fast-paced or high-pressure environments
