Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide support on a leave of absence contract at an elementary school in Feeding Hills, MA. This position focuses on delivering high-quality services to students in grades K-4 within a structured educational setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language pathology services to students utilizing small group, one-on-one, and inclusion classroom models.
- Conduct speech and language evaluations to determine IEP eligibility.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individual education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the educational team.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal writing and progress documentation.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of student progress and therapy sessions.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license (SLP-CCC preferred).
- Experience working in school settings serving elementary-aged children.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state special education regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with educators, families, and students.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and maintain detailed documentation.
Position Details:
- Location: Feeding Hills, MA.
- School Level: Elementary (K-4 grades).
- Hours: Approximately 17 hours per week.
- Duration: Immediate start through February 13, 2026, with potential extension for makeup services.
- Contract type: Leave of absence coverage.
- Credentialing and completion of district onboarding requirements are mandatory before placement.
