Job Description\n
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring Epic experience and a valid MA RN license.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
- Work in the Med/Surg Tele unit within a hospital setting
- Patient ratios range from 1:3 to 1:5
- Expected to float to ED holds, inpatient holds, PACU, and other boarding units in 4-hour blocks during shifts
- Every other weekend required with specific days based on shift
- Uses Epic EMR with experience required
- Day one pass/fail testing includes Tele/ECG and medication tests
- Relias practice tests will be made available prior to required testing
- COVID vaccine and booster as well as flu vaccination are required, with medical exemptions accepted
- Parking may cost up to $43 per day in Boston
- First-time travelers are accepted if they have Level I trauma experience

- Active Massachusetts RN license required
- Current BLS certification from AHA required
- ACLS and NIHSS certifications preferred
- Epic EMR experience required
- Level I trauma experience preferred; if no prior travel, Level I trauma experience is required
- Must have been separated from any previous employment at Beth Israel Lahey Health facilities for at least 6 months
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted
