Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for a skilled Occupational Therapist to support students in an educational setting in Northampton, MA. Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and assess students functional abilities and needs
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to students goals
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Provide direct therapeutic services to enhance fine motor skills, sensory processing, and self-care abilities
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a holistic approach to student development
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license or certification
- Experience working with school-aged children in educational or clinical settings
- Strong understanding of pediatric development and therapeutic interventions
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary staff
- Commitment to fostering a positive, supportive learning environment
