This contract opportunity is designed for a New Hampshire licensed Occupational Therapist who thrives in a collaborative, school-based environment and values engaging directly with students at both the elementary and upper campus levels.
Work onsite at two welcoming charter schools in Keene and Surry, providing vital OT services to support students’ growth and success. You’ll have the support of a responsive director and the chance to craft a schedule that fits your preferences and commitments.
Qualifications:
- Active New Hampshire Occupational Therapist certification required
- Experience or strong interest in school-based OT preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage time efficiently and travel between Keene and Surry locations (15 minutes apart)
- Commitment to providing services across grades 1-5
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct OT services and consultation sessions per student-specific requirements, with a total of approximately 110 service hours for the remainder of the school year
- Serve students at Gathering Waters upper/lower campuses and Surry Village campuses, working with both younger and older elementary students
- Maintain clear records of services provided, session outcomes, and ongoing student needs
- Collaborate with special education staff, families, and administrators to support each student’s individualized goals
- Offer expert guidance on assistive recommendations, classroom strategies, and adaptations
