Our organization is currently looking for full-time Addiction Psychiatrists to deliver outpatient and/or residential care at our Brockton and Jamaica Plain locations. As a leading center for medical research and a referral hospital in the New England area, we are affiliated with prestigious institutions such as Harvard Medical School and Boston University Medical School.
Position Overview
We have two openings at the Jamaica Plain campus, which will involve a combination of:
- Direct clinical care in residential and transitional settings
- Outpatient substance abuse clinics
- Management of a methadone clinic
- Teaching and supervising trainees, including medical students, residents, and fellows
- Potential site directorship for addiction training for residents
- Administrative duties and staff supervision
- Pursuing academic interests, including research opportunities
An academic faculty position will be arranged at either Harvard Medical School or Boston University School of Medicine.

Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess a balanced combination of direct clinical responsibilities, teaching, and supervision of psychiatry residents and medical students. The appointment level—Instructor, Assistant Professor, or Associate Professor—will be based on the candidate's experience, training, and accomplishments.
Compensation and Benefits
This role offers a highly competitive salary, along with a generous leave and benefits package. Additionally, candidates may qualify for up to $200,000 in Educational Debt Reduction and/or a $10,000 Recruitment/Relocation Incentive.
Requirements
- Board Eligible in General Psychiatry and/or board certified in Addiction Psychiatry or Addiction Medicine
- A strong commitment to serving Veterans
- Excellent clinical, supervisory, and interpersonal skills
- A desire to collaborate within an exceptional interprofessional team
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
