Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) are needed for K-12 schools in the Durham, NH area to cover maternity leaves. These contract positions offer a dynamic opportunity to support students across different age groups in an educational setting with a focus on speech and language development.

Open Positions:

  • Position 1: High School caseload, 3-4 days per week, starting ASAP through the end of the school year
  • Position 2: Middle School caseload, full-time (4-5 days per week), starting in April through the end of the school year

Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech-language therapy services to students with diverse communication needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Conduct assessments and document student progress regularly
  • Support students in both group and individual sessions, tailoring interventions to their needs
  • Ensure compliance with school policies and state regulations regarding therapy services

Desired Qualifications:

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Experience in pediatric and school-based speech-language pathology
  • Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred but not required
  • Ability to work effectively within a school team and manage caseloads in a K-12 environment
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
