The city features a notable food scene with local specialties such as New England clam chowder and lobster rolls, and the nearby town of Salem, approximately 30 miles away, provides an accessible day trip destination. Annual events such as the Head of the Charles Regatta further complement the range of activities available in the area.

About the Clinician's Workday

The DNP will provide endocrinology services Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, covering inpatient, outpatient, or both settings depending on availability. Clinical responsibilities include diabetes expertise and education, triage, urgent visits, in-basket management, and insulin pump management. Potential weekend call coverage is required from Friday 5:00 PM to Monday 8:00 AM, with in-house work on Saturday and Sunday. Clinicians must hold an active state license, board certification, and prescriptive authority, and must have a minimum of one year of inpatient and/or outpatient endocrinology experience as an APP.
