Description\n
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN - ICU for a Medical ICU/Neuro Critical Care float position requiring at least 1-2 years of Level 1 ICU experience.

- 32-bed Medical ICU also licensed for Neuro Critical Care patients, split across 2 floors
- Float position covering Medical HVCC, SICU, and IMC units
- Patient ratios of 1:2, or 1:1 for higher acuity cases
- Cases include sepsis, ESRD and AKI requiring CRRT/CVVH, post cardiac arrest care, and respiratory failure
- AM shift, 3x12s, 36 hours per week with a 30-minute meal break
- No on-call responsibilities
- 48-hour contracts will be accommodated

Requirements\n
- \n
- Active MA RN license required
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (BLS and ACLS through American Heart Association)
- 1 year of experience in a Level 1 ICU required, or 2 years preferred experience in a MICU setting
- Strong ICU background required; candidates with only 1 year of experience as a new grad may not be suitable for this unit
