Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our inpatient team. This is a great opportunity for an RN who is confident caring for a diverse patient population and can work independently in a small, critical-access hospital setting.
Position Details
- Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg/Telemetry, PCU
- Location: Claremont, NH
- Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
- Start Date: September 21, 2026
- Shift: Nights
- Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts
- Weekend: Every other weekend
- On-Call: None
- Pay: $33.90 – $45.25/hour, based on experience
- Estimated Annual Salary: $70,512 – $94,120
What You'll Do
As an RN on the inpatient unit, you will:
- Assess, plan, provide, and evaluate nursing care using the nursing process and critical thinking.
- Care for patients across a broad age range, from newborn to geriatric.
- Provide safe and compassionate bedside nursing care.
- Monitor cardiac/telemetry patients and respond appropriately to changes in condition.
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and care plans.
- Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team.
- Work independently while contributing to a supportive team environment.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of ICU, PCU, or Med Surg experience – REQUIRED
- 2+ years of ED experience – REQUIRED
- Telemetry experience – REQUIRED
- Current New Hampshire or Compact RN license in hand at time of submission.
- ACLS, BLS, and PALS – AHA required
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and confidently in a small hospital environment.
Preferred
- Previous experience in a rural or small-facility/critical-access hospital
- Previous travel nursing experience is a plus but not required.
