Job Description
We are seeking a LocumsGastroenterology Physician to provide weekend call coverage inNorthampton, Massachusetts. This is a call-only opportunity with coverageneeded approximately one weekend every five weeks.
The physician will provide inpatient GIconsultation and management for adult patients in a hospital setting. Thehospitalist team takes first call, with the gastroenterologist providingspecialty backup and performing procedures as needed.
Compensation: $2,800-$3,000 Per Day
Position Highlights

<li>Call-only coverage</li>
<li>Approximately 1 weekend every 5 weeks</li>
<li>Weekend call: Friday at 3:00 PM through Monday at 6:00 AM</li>
<li>24-hour overnight call coverage: 7:00 PM–7:00 AM as applicable</li>
<li>Hospital-based practice setting</li>
<li>Adult patient population</li>
<li>Hospitalist team takes first call</li>
<li>Physician will round on patients</li>
<li>EMR: Epic</li>
<li>Bread-and-butter Gastroenterology</li>
<li>Upper and lower endoscopy</li>
<li>Colonoscopies</li>
</ul>

Requirements
<ul>
<li>MD or DO</li>
<li>Board Certified in Gastroenterology</li>
<li>Active Massachusetts medical license</li>
<li>BLS certification</li>
<li>Current DEA registration</li>
<li>Comfortable providing inpatient GI consultation, rounding, and endoscopic procedures</li>
