Step into a meaningful contract opportunity supporting elementary students in a vibrant learning environment near Derry, NH. This onsite position extends from October 12, 2026, through May 27, 2027, with a weekly schedule of 32.5 hours (Monday–Friday, 8:15 am–3:15 pm). If you have a passion for empowering children and are experienced in behavioral and ASD settings, your expertise will make a real impact here.
Key Qualifications:
- Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification or significant experience as a Behavior Tech/Para in behavioral/ASD settings (please include a copy of your cert upon application)
- Direct experience in behavior-based and ASD support settings; 1:1 experience alone will not qualify
- Comfortable working exclusively on-site in an elementary classroom environment
- Skilled in implementing behavioral strategies as supervised by the school-based BCBA
- Strong commitment to collaboration, patience, and communication with young learners
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist students in achieving developmental and academic milestones within a supportive elementary setting
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under direction of the school BCBA
- Monitor student progress and record behavioral data accurately
- Foster a safe and encouraging environment tailored to students’ unique needs
- Contribute positively to the classroom community and support staff collegially
