Key Qualifications:
- Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
- Experience supporting students with autism, especially in early elementary settings
- Ability to follow and implement behavior intervention plans with consistency
- Strong communication and data collection skills
- Team-oriented approach and reliability
- Familiarity with evidence-based ABA methodologies
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one ABA therapy and support to a kindergarten/first grade student
- Implement shaping techniques and positive reinforcement to promote appropriate behavior
- Collaborate with teachers, classroom staff, and special education professionals
- Collect and maintain accurate behavioral data to support ongoing intervention planning
- Participate in regular meetings and communicate student progress to the supervising BCBA
- Assist with general classroom activities, helping the student integrate with peers as appropriate
