Make a significant impact supporting students across a welcoming district in the beautiful Windsor region this school year! This contract opportunity is ideal for an enthusiastic Occupational Therapist who enjoys collaborating with a dedicated team while serving K-12 learners across four school buildings. You'll also have the support of a COTA who covers 5th–12th grades and select 2nd–4th grade students under your supervision.
As a part of this setting, you will be empowered to deliver both in-person and virtual services, opening the door for creative, flexible approaches to care. You will help students develop essential life and motor skills, enabling them to thrive in the classroom and beyond.
Ideal candidates for this role bring experience in school-based occupational therapy, a passion for working with diverse age groups, and a current Vermont OT/COTA certification.
Qualifications:
- Valid Vermont OT or COTA certificate required
- Prior experience in a school setting, preferably K-12
- Comfortable supervising and collaborating with COTAs
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Adaptable and proactive in dynamic environments
- Willingness to provide virtual services when needed
Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to K-12 students across four buildings
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
- Oversee and support a COTA providing services to specific grade levels
- Complete evaluations, develop treatment plans, and maintain thorough documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary teams
