Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications:
- Valid New Hampshire Teaching License required
- Prior experience with mental health and behavioral self-contained programs preferred
- Strong understanding of IEPs, data collection, and case management
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and administration
- Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Passion for creating supportive, inclusive learning environments
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized instruction tailored to individual student needs within a self-contained classroom setting
- Effectively manage a caseload of 10-16 students, including evaluations, case management, report writing, and leading team meetings
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs, ensuring compliance and student growth
- Utilize evidence-based strategies to address behavioral and academic goals
- Engage in regular communication with parents, caregivers, and related service professionals
- Foster a safe, positive classroom atmosphere conducive to learning and emotional well-being
- Participate in professional development and school-wide initiatives as needed
This position offers consistent daytime hours from 7:30 AM to 2:20 PM, providing a predictable and manageable schedule with 32.5-35 hours per week.
