Responsibilities
- Process customer payments accurately and efficiently using cash registers or point-of-sale systems.
- Verify prescription and over-the-counter purchases with pharmacy staff as needed.
- Maintain organized and clean checkout areas to ensure a welcoming environment.
- Provide excellent customer service by answering basic questions and directing customers to pharmacy staff when necessary.
- Handle refunds, exchanges, and price adjustments as per company policy.
- Assist with inventory management and restocking of cash register supplies.
- Follow all security and confidentiality regulations to protect customer information.
- Collaborate with pharmacists and other team members to ensure smooth pharmacy operations.
