Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Speech-Language Pathologist needed for a leave of absence coverage at an elementary school in Westfield, MA. This contract opportunity is ideal for credentialed professionals experienced in providing speech-language services within a school setting.
Position Details:
- Location: Westfield, MA
- Setting: Elementary School (Kindergarten through 4th grade)
- Duration: Immediate start through approximately February 13, 2026, with potential extension to complete make-up services
- Hours: 17 hours per week
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language services to students through small group sessions, one-on-one therapy, or inclusion classroom support
- Conduct evaluations for IEP eligibility and contribute to IEP development, including goal writing and progress monitoring
- Document student progress and participate in IEP meetings as needed
- Collaborate with school staff to support student communication goals
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology certification, ideally with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Experience working with elementary-aged students in a school environment
- Ability to complete district onboarding requirements promptly
- Strong organizational and communication skills
