Preferred Background and Experience:
- Hands-on experience as a paraprofessional or ABA therapist in an educational setting
- Solid understanding of ABA principles and successful implementation
- Ability to provide compassionate, patient guidance to elementary-age students
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Relevant credentials or certifications required for ABA support
Key Responsibilities:
- Work in close partnership with teachers and specialists in classrooms
- Deliver one-on-one and small group ABA-based interventions to elementary students
- Monitor student progress and collect behavioral/academic data as directed
- Adapt instructional strategies for individualized learning plans
- Assist students with daily routines, socialization, and classroom participation
- Foster a supportive atmosphere that encourages growth and self-confidence
