Key Responsibilities
The Weekend Director of Nursing will oversee the nursing center's operations from 5 PM on Friday until 7 AM on Monday.
- Report directly to the Director of Nursing.
- Serve in a visible leadership role, ensuring the provision of high-quality, cost-effective patient care while achieving favorable clinical outcomes and satisfaction for patients, families, and employees.
- Guarantee that care delivery aligns with the organization's mission, vision, values, and policies, as well as accepted standards of practice, state and federal regulations, and licensing requirements.
- Mentor, educate, coach, and, when necessary, discipline nursing team members.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals, acting as a resource for all staff.
- May also engage in direct patient care to maintain clinical skills.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing school is required.
- Associate Degree in Nursing with a minimum of 3 years of nursing experience.
- Diploma in Nursing with at least 3 years of nursing experience.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) with a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
- Proven nurse leadership experience for at least one year.
- Current licensure from the State Board of Examiners of Nurses in the relevant state.
- Must maintain current BLS/CPR certification (as required by state regulations for SNFs, Behavioral Centers, ALFs, and ILFs).
Working Conditions
This position requires availability during weekends, specifically from Friday evening through Monday morning.

Salary Range
Posted Salary Range: USD $38.00 - USD $52.50 per hour.
