Our firm is seeking an Administrative Assistant to become a part of our busy team! We are a small firm, looking for someone passionate about the legal field, interested in landlord/tenant law, and looking for hands-on experience. The role currently being offered is an administrative position, but we are looking to invest in someone to grow with our firm.
Responsibilities:
· Assist with the processing of legal documents and filing with the courts
· Assist with corresponding with the courts and obtaining status updates on matters
· Communicate with clients regarding the status of court cases and other matters
· Record and store client information
· Coordinate calendar events
· Answer phones and open files
Qualifications:
· General computer knowledge and skills
· Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
· Confidence in verbal communication skills
· Excellent writing skills
· Deadline and detail-oriented
· Previous experience in the legal industry is a plus
